DAY 1 : NAIROBI – MAASAI MARA

You will be received by our representative and the driver at the airport or picked from your hotel in Nairobi and drive to Maasai Mara via the Great Rift valley arriving at the camp for lunch.
After lunch and relaxation you set off for afternoon game drives at the famous Masai Mara National reserve until the African sunset. Drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2: MAASAI MARA

You will have a complete day of unlimited game drives. You will have early morning breakfast at the camp and then proceed for a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara savannah in search of the Big Five. Other than the game drives, some remarkable activities to undertake for the two days includes a drive towards the Mara River where there is a particularly dramatic spectacle, the annual migration of huge herds of gnus and zebras, that takes place between July and October. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-manned lions, leopard, and cheetah but also contains numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. At an extra cost, you would not want to miss the optional great experience of a visit to the nearby Maasai village to explore their traditional culture and lifestyle, alongside that is also an optional event of taking a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks across the golden savannah and witness the herds of wildlife emerging into the day. Your driver/guide can arrange either of these optional excursions.  During the full-day game drives, you can have lunch served at a picnic site in the savannah under the balanite tree or take a break for lunch at the camp before you embark on the afternoon game drive till evening when you shall return to the camp to have dinner and your overnight stay.

DAY 3: MAASAI MARA – LAKE NAKURU

You will have breakfast at the lodge and depart from Masai Mara driving to Lake Nakuru National Park.
Have lunch upon arrival and embark on your afternoon game drives at Lake Nakuru National Park until sunset by the lake side enjoying sightings of the rhinos. The lake’s abundance of algae attracts a vast quantity of flamingos that famously line the shore. Other bird species, warthogs, baboons and large mammals are also present at the lake, some of the mammals you expect to see includes Rothschild giraffes, cape buffaloes, impalas, waterbucks, hippos, colobus monkeys, spotted hyenas, zebras, gazelles, leopards, lion, pythons among others. Drive to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU – LAKE NAIVASHA

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Naivasha. On arrival, you will check into the hotel, have lunch and spend the afternoon at your leisure with a boat ride paid on ground at Lake Naivasha. Much of the lake is surrounded by forests of the yellow-barked Acacia xanthophyll, known as the yellow fever tree. These forests abound with birdlife, and Naivasha is known as a world-class birding destination. The waters of the lake draw a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, buffalos wallow in the swamps and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the lakes’ large hippo population sleep the day out in the shallows, zebras, impala, caracal, leopards and waterbucks can also be sighted in the immediate vicinity of Lake Naivasha, around the Crescent Island. In the evening you will return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5: LAKE NAIVASHA – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you will drive to Amboseli National Park. On arrival, you will check into the hotel, have lunch and rest briefly before you begin your afternoon drive. The park is famous for its herds of elephants, the Big Five, and the famous Africa highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. You will spend time in the park in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the zebras, giraffes, hippos and big elephants.

DAY 6: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK FULL DAY

After an early breakfast, you will have a whole day of adventure in the park. As per your choice, you will either have a full day game drive or morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli is the home to great herds of elephants and with the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro it is a favorite spot for photographers. Also to be found in the Amboseli are herds of wildebeest, buffaloes, gazelles and many other wildlife. Lions and cheetahs can also be seen here. During clear days, you may also view the Majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. There is also a chance to visit the local communities in their nearby villages. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

DAY 7: AMBOSELI – TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK

Have an early morning game drive and later come back to the lodge for breakfast then depart from Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park. On arrival at the park, you will check in and have lunch. Then proceed to an afternoon game drive. From the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal-clear water gushing out of from the under parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs  to the Shetani  lava flows, Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher’s Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler. You will later drive back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

DAY 8: TSAVO WEST – TSAVO EAST

After your breakfast, you depart to Tsavo East for another adventurous day of game drive. The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300 kilomtere long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East. The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

DAY 9: TSAVO EAST – DIANI BEACH

Have an early breakfast and enjoy an enroute game drive as you leave the park for a transfer to Voi Railway Station for the Madaraka Express train to Mombasa arriving at the station at 12:02pm and departing at 12:08pm. Arrive Mombasa at 2.00 pm, and you’ll be received by your driver and transferred to Diani Beach which is one hour fifteen minutes away. On arrival, transfer to your hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

DAY 10-11 : DIANI BEACH

For the days you will be at the beach, you will spend your time at leisure enjoying the hotel’s facilities. Diani has a population of around 100,000 inhabitants and is famous for its white sand beaches and blue ocean. The beach is popular for relaxing resorts which are popular with honeymooners, backpackers and families on holiday. Try a camel ride for the tourist experience or book a bike tour inland for a glimpse of life in local villages.  Inland from the beach, there is extensive vegetation including numerous palm trees which cover the coastal areas. The Mwachema River flows into the sea at Diani Beach. The general area is known for its coral reefsblack-and-white colobus monkeys, and for the closely located Shimba Hills National Reserve, a wildlife reserve which looks out over the Indian Ocean. Diani Beach has restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, and several shopping centres. The Beach is also a popular kitesurfingjet skiing, and snorkelling location. All meals will be served at the hotel.

DAY 12 : DEPARTURE TO NAIROBI

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Ukunda airport, where you will make a domestic connecting flight to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
You will fly to JKIA with enough time for check-in (usually leave around 3-4 hours for this activity).
